About Us

In the lower 48, he and his wife and children lived outside of Prescott, where he mined for gold in the Bradshaw Mountains of Arizona and subsequently returned to his home state of Texas and explored for oil.
But Michael’s connection to the natural world extends beyond his professional achievements. As a child, he traveled regularly with his parents to their home state of Colorado and was consumed by the old gold and silver mines scattered around the breathtaking Rocky Mountain landscape. Motivated by these experiences, Michael immersed himself in the captivating realm of geology. His lifelong hobby of family history research and his own experiences laid the foundation for his ongoing passion.
